2010, Clients: Japan Tourism Agency/JTB Communications
This was an integrated advertising campaign, combining print and Facebook, designed to promote tourism to Japan.
Advertising was placed in the large-circulation UK newspaper METRO, as well as travel publications. CROSS MEDIA was responsible for all aspects of the advertising process, from putting together the creative, through to media buying and budgeting decisions. We also set up a new website and Facebook page as part of the campaign.
We worked to attract viewers of the advertising to visit the Facebook page, and arranged a promotion whereby survey respondents were entered into a draw to win air tickets to Japan, selecting and negotiating with sponsors.
We were able to collect data on consumers with an interest in taking a leisure trip to Japan.
